Belinda Carlisle, MIDGE URE and Boy George are among the stars teaming up to go on a joint '80s revival tour next year (11).
Hit acts from the decade, including Australian pop star Jason Donovan, Scottish singer Jimmy Somerville, and girl duo Pepsi & Shirlie, will perform on the Here & Now trek across the U.K., which starts in Birmingham, England next June (11).
Ure, 56, is relieved he won't have to make a comeback on his own - and he insists the tour will be calmer than the concerts in his heyday.
He tells Britain's Daily Express, "There's security in numbers. I won't be dressing up in the same way though, there's something weird about that. Once it's over people tend to go home or back to their hotel. When we were young, free and single it was more naughty."
But Donovan is adamant the tour will be fun: "I've got a feeling this tour will be good for a party. I get a sense it will be a fun one."
