Chantelle claims being on 'Ultimate Big Brother' has helped her get over her split from Preston.

The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner - who fell in love with The Ordinary Boys singer on the show in 2006, and married him later that year before splitting in 2007 - admits being reunited in the Channel 4 compound has helped her "move on".

She told Ulrika: "We both said that I'm gonna go and see him at the weekend when the show finishes. Obviously there's nothing more we can have 'cause, like, obviously Preston's got a girlfriend and we couldn't go back now anyway.

"I think too much has happened, it's been too much time. It's been three years! That's a long old time.

"But a really good thing's come out of me doing this show - the fact that I am gonna be able to move on. You know like Davina always says, 'What do you feel you've achieved out of this?' Do you know what I mean? I have had a huge thing, a massive thing has come out of it for me."

During a heart-to-heart with the former 'Gladiatiors' presenter Ulrika, and ex-air hostess Brian Dowling, Chantelle admitted she still had feelings for her ex-husband and hoped they meet up outside the house sooner rather than later.

She said: "If I leave on Friday I'll wait for Preston when he comes out and I'll bring our dogs."

But Brian replied: "Maybe you should try and find out where you stand with him before you put yourself out there like that. I mean, I've seen the way he looks at you. He obviously cares about you."

Despite the words of encouragement, Chantelle admits she thinks there is no chance they could reunite.

She said: "It wouldn't happen. It's been three years. That's such a long time. I don't know. I think Preston loves me but he's not in love with me. No. If anything it's almost like we met in 'Big Brother' and we'll finish in 'Big Brother'."
