Nielsen's top ten ratings list was turned on its ear this week as Univision's telenovela (limited-run soap opera) Fuerza del Destino captured three of the positions among the key demographic group of adults 18-49, making the Spanish-language broadcaster the No. 1 network in the 9 00 p.m. hour throughout the week in that demo. Also in that demo, CBS's Wednesday-night edition of Big Brother 13 rose to the top of the ratings list, knocking off the Tuesday performance installment of America's Got Talent. Among total adults, however, it was a different story. Tuesday's AGT remained in the lead with 11.2 million viewers, followed by Wednesday's "results" installment with 10.65 million. Big Brother 13 (Wednesday) came in at No. 6 and Fuerza del Destino ranked no higher than No. 42. A relatively slow news week was reflected in the ratings for the nightly newscasts. As usual, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams led with 7.86 million viewers. ABC World News with Diane Sawyer ranked second with 7.23 million, followed by CBS with 5.88 million. In overall rankings for the week, CBS led with an average 3.7 rating and a 6 share. ABC followed with a 3.1/5, edging out NBC with a 3.0/5. Fox trailed with a 1.7/3.
