Bill Murray was left red-faced on Wednesday night (12Oct11) after reportedly appearing for a New York Film Festival event 24 hours ahead of schedule.
The Ghostbusters actor was due to appear for a Q&A session on Thursday (13Oct11) to mark the 10th anniversary of his 2001 film The Royal Tenenbaums with co-stars Anjelica Huston and Gwyneth Paltrow at Manhattan's Lincoln Center.
However, Murray was reportedly left baffled when he turned up for the event on the wrong night, but laughed off the error and stayed to watch a screening of Pedro Almodovar's new film The Skin I Live In, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
A source tells the publication, "He went on the wrong night."
