Police Called After Murray's Election Night 'Fight'
Comedic actor Bill Murray's celebration of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama's victory was cut short by police - after he reportedly got into a scuffle with a fellow reveller.
According to reports, Murray was celebrating Obama's victory in New York's Times Square amid a mass of fellow Democratic supporters on 4 November (08) when a row broke out, prompting a call to police.
A source tells the New York Post, Bill was standing in this line of people, and then this smaller guy walked through the line very abruptly and knocked into him. Murray turned around, and the man who bumped him was not apologetic at all. He wanted to fight right there.
Police reportedly carried off Murray's offender, though no arrest was made.
Murray's business manager had no comment on the incident.
