Country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus penned an emotional tribute to his late father, which the dying patriarch heard just before he passed away in February (06). The ACHY BREAKY HEART singer knew his dad was losing his cancer battle when he visited him at the beginning of the year, and he decided to let his father know just how he felt about him in a song. Cyrus managed to record the tune, HEY DADDY, before his father RONALD RAY died, and he played it for him as he lay on his deathbed. The singer recalls, "He took the earphones off and said, 'Son, promise me somebody else will hear that song besides me...' The next week, he passed away."
