Blake Lively found being asked to promote Gucci's new fragrance ''surreal'' and admitted that she loves being associated with the brand and working with their designer Frida Giannini
Blake Lively thought it was ''surreal'' when she was chosen to promote Gucci's new fragrance.
The 'Gossip Girl' star couldn't believe it when she got the call to appear in the adverts for the brands new perfume, Gucci Premiere, as the luxury brand is one she'd always wanted to work with.
She told Dubai's MyFashDiary.com: ''I did not believe it at first. I was afraid to wake up. It was very exciting. The whole process has been amazing.''
The blonde beauty praised designer Frida Giannini for the way she empowers women and represents them in a way she herself would like to be seen.
She added: ''What made the difference above anything else is Frida Giannini herself. How influential she is, the fact that she had always given the women a voice, a way to express themselves. Her designs, her fragrances - she is involved in everything, every single element.''
Speaking about what made her want to represent Gucci, she said: ''It was more about the brand. Gucci represents the woman that I always looked up to. They tend to represent the empowered side of a woman. They capture everything I want to be as a woman.''
