British rockers Blur have reunited to record a new song - their first release in seven years.
The band fell apart in 2002 after guitarist Graham Coxon left during the recording of their last album, Think Tank, which hit the charts in 2003.
They came together for a series of gigs last year (09) and now they've headed back into the studio to work on a new track, which will be issued as a limited edition for a campaign to save record stores.
Frontman Damon Albarn says, "We want independent record stores to continue - they're an important part of our musical culture. Music is a simple way for Blur to show our support and we hope people like it."
Just 1,000 copies of the single will be released on 17 April (10) as part of Record Store Day.
