Late reggae legend Bob Marley's 61st birthday is going to be celebrated in Ghana with a special day-long tribute festival.
Organised by the Bob And Rita Marley Foundation, the February (06) Africa Unite event will feature performances by family members and Marley's backing singers the I-THREES, as well as local acts.
It's the second time the foundation has planned such a celebration to tie in with Marley's birthday - the first Africa Unite festival was staged in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, last year (05).
Plans are already afoot to stage next year's (07) birthday celebration in South Africa.
