The only daughter of Brown and Whitney Houston has been hospitalised in Georgia since she was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at her home in Roswell at the end of January (15).

Since she was moved from Atlanta's Emory University Hospital to a nearby rehabilitation centre recently, news about her condition has not been forthcoming from the family, and the latest updates have left many confused.

During a gig in Florida on Saturday (18Apr15), the My Prerogative hitmaker told fans his 22-year-old daughter is "awake", and his sister Tina Brown added a Facebook post on Monday (20Apr15), in which she wrote, "(Bobbi Kristina) woke up and is no longer on life support".

But other family sources insist the youngster's condition has not changed and she's still fighting for life in a medically-induced coma.

Hours after Tina's post, Bobby's attorney, Christopher Brown, released a statement to clear up the various reports about Bobbi Kristina's health.

It reads: "Bobbi Kristina's condition has changed since moving from Emory University Hospital and there has been improvement. Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life.

"However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

Bobby's wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown also added, that her husband "made an attempt to correct the negative comments he must endure on a daily basis from both family and the public regarding his daughter’s medical condition.

"He is encouraged by the steps that Bobbi Kristina has made since her hospitalization on January 31, 2015. She has made it out of the ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard."
