Jerod Brown, who Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby urged the media not to talk to as his daughter continues to fight for her life in hospital, has publicly come forward to salute Gordon a week after he checked into rehab following a charged TV chat with U.S. self-help guru Dr. Phil MCGraw.

In a Facebook.com post on Sunday (15Mar15), Jerod claims Nick has been working closely with the police as they continue to investigate the near-drowning of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter.

He writes, "Nick has cooperated with the police department, he has cooperated with my uncle Bobby's request. He has given my family members as much information as he can.

"He has been exploited on national television with hidden cameras that he had no idea about. He has given Kristina CPR which is one of the reasons why she is not dead till this day. He has been ridiculed and accused without any concrete evidence, yet he still hasn't gotten the chance to visit his girl. If everyone truly believes that Nick is the blame for this situation wouldn't you think he would already be locked up by now."

Jerod's post comes after TMZ.com published an interview with another Brown family member, Leolah Brown, who accused Gordon of "manipulating" MCGraw during his appearance on The Dr. Phil Show on 11 March (14).

Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since she was admitted to hospital on 31 January (15), after Gordon and a friend found her unresponsive and face down in a bathtub and her home in Roswell, Georgia.
