The 25 year old was arrested in Alpharetta in November, 2012 after police officers allegedly spotted him speeding on the Northpoint Parkway.

He was booked for reckless driving and speeding, and spent two nights behind bars before he was released.

However, according to Eonline.com, lawyers for Gordon settled the case with authorities on 30 March (15) by agreeing to pay a fine of $705 (£440) in exchange for a suspended sentence of just under a year.

Gordon's personal problems are far from over - this week (begs27Apr15), he checked out of rehab after seeking treatment for drink and drug abuse related to a battle with depression.

He has been struggling with depression issues since the 2012 death of Brown's mother Whitney Houston, who had informally adopted Gordon when he was a kid, and his troubles worsened in late January (15), when he discovered his girlfriend unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at their Roswell, Georgia home.

Bobbi Kristina remains under doctors' care and her maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, recently admitted they were praying for a "miracle" as the aspiring actress continues to fight for her life.

The family has forbidden Gordon from visiting his partner ever since she was admitted to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma.
