Arterton's Bbc Show Disrupted By Arson Attack
Bond girl Gemma Arterton has had filming of her new BBC drama series disrupted after an arson attack destroyed a lorry load of the show's period costumes.
The 22-year-old, who will appear in forthcoming James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, landed the starring role in a TV adaptation of Thomas Hardy's classic novel Tess Of The D'Urbervilles.
But the shoot in Bath, England, has suffered a major setback after a truck containing the 19th century-style outfits - thought to be worth in excess of $300,000 (GBP150,000) - was set on fire.
The lorry driver, who was asleep in the cab at the time of the attack, had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
However, a BBC spokesman insists the disruption will be kept to a minimum, saying, "There is a police investigation under way. The fire will give our costume department a few headaches over the next couple of weeks, but filming will continue on schedule."
