Bone Thugs-N-Harmony star Bizzy Bone is thrilled with his recent weightloss and new fitness routine as he can now keep up with his bandmates onstages.
The rapper tipped the scales at 200 pounds (90 kilograms) at the start of the year (12) but he has since dropped down to a healty 165 pounds (74.8 kilograms) after cutting out junk food and taking up exercise.
Bizzy Bone, real name Bryon MCCane, reveals his dramatic diet overhaul came after he decided he was consuming too much booze.
He tells People.com, "I was drinking more than I should, so I said, 'Let's put the bottle down, period.' I got back to the basics, getting my health together. Now I eat because my body needs to be fuelled. I still eat what I want to eat, but I stay away from the bread, potatoes and cheese."
Bizzy Bone does hundreds of sit-ups a day and admits he is thrilled to feel fit again, adding, "When I'm on stage, it's like going to Pilates. Afterward, my back doesn't hurt because I've been drinking, it hurts because I've been performing... (and) I can see my jaw line again. Holy smokes, I've got cheekbones! I finally think that I'm picture-worthy. I'm focusing on my six-pack now!"
