Fiancee Found Boston Rocker Dead
LATEST: Rocker BRAD DELP's fiancee found the Boston frontman dead at their New Hampshire home after being unable to reach him by telephone.
According to Atkinson, New Hampshire Police Lieutenant William Baldwin, Delp's fiancee, PAMELA SULLIVAN, was partying with friends on Thursday night (03JUN05) and discovered the singer's body when she came home on Friday (03JUN05).
He explains, "She had last heard from him the night before, because she stayed out after work with some colleagues.
"She tried that morning three times to get a hold of him, and could not, so she went home and found (him)."
Local authorities in Atkinson, New Hampshire claim the singer's death is not considered to have been suspicious, but have admitted the state medical examiner's office is conducting a routine investigation.
Baldwin says the police hope to complete their investigation and receive toxicology results by the end of the week (ends03JUN05).
Dates for a private funeral service and a public memorial have yet to be confirmed.
The 55-year-old joined Boston in the mid-1970s and sang on two of the band's biggest hits, MORE THAN A FEELING and LONG TIME. Delp and Sullivan planned to marry this summer (07).
