Boy George has surprised a fan by sending him a signed album cover - over a decade after the devotee originally asked for his autograph.
The former Culture Club star has been clearing out his London home and he's kept followers on Twitter.com up to date with his discoveries, revealing he recently stumbled across a request for a signed cover of his band's 1983 album Colour By Numbers.
He wrote on his page, "I found an old CC album someone sent to get signed. Gonna send it. Maybe they moved? It belongs to Peter J Anderson in Hebburn, Tyne & Wear NE31? Where's that?"
And the singer kept his promise - Anderson received the signed copy shortly after.
He tells a local newspaper, "This has taken me on such a nostalgia trip. I'd forgotten all about it... it must have been 10 or even 12 years ago that I sent it to him."
And the star was happy to finally return the album cover to its sender, adding, "It's brilliant that it got to him after all these years. Better late than never!"
