Country star Brad Paisley was joined by collaborators Carrie Underwood and Alabama on the Grand Ole Opry stage on Tuesday (18Oct11) to celebrate his latest chart successes.
Paisley's joint ceremony was held at the famed venue in Nashville, Tennessee to mark the singer's recent Number One hits - Remind Me with Underwood and Old Alabama with the Reckless hitmakers.
He thrilled the audience by inviting Underwood and later Alabama to join him in performing the very songs that were being honoured.
Paisley thanked both acts for working with him, and told reporters backstage the tracks would have been sorely lacking without their contributions.
Paisley says, "These songs were lifted to another level because of these artists. If I (sang) the bridge of (Old Alabama) it wouldn't be nearly as cool as those guys making that appearance and singing it.
"The same thing with Carrie. It would just be weird if I sang Remind Me to myself. I don't think it would have sounded right with any other female singer. I had that voice in mind. It was written for her."
