Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will mark their marriage with matching tattoos.

The couple - who both already have several inkings - are expected to wed before the end of May and plan to have a permanent reminder of their big day by incorporating their vows and the names of their six children into a design.

A source said: ''They plan to have their tattoos done by a local French artist. They've designed a special motif that includes some of their vows and their children's names entwined in leaves, which will be in their own handwriting.''

The couple want their children - Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and Knox and Vivienne, four - to play a big part in their wedding and as a special surprise, they have arranged for their bedrooms to be given an overhaul as part of renovations being done to their French estate, where the nuptials will take place.

The source added: ''Brad needed to tie up loose ends for their wine launch, and finish last-minute touches to their home for the wedding, including a surprise refurbish, emt of the children's bedrooms.

''The twins have Peter Pan and dinosaur-themed rooms, while Shiloh has pirates and Zahara a princess-style room. The wedding is all about them, so Brad wanted to do something special.''
