Hollywood supercouple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sparked speculation they are looking to set up home in Berlin - after meeting with architects in the German capital.

The expectant parents visited Berlin's Jewish museum with Thomas Willemeit, Lars Krueckeberg, and Wolfram Putz, who renovated Pitt's Los Angeles home.

Pitt told reporters, "I am very happy here. We arrived at the weekend and will stay some days. Just hanging around, visiting friends."

But the couple's appearance in Berlin has prompted rumours they are considering setting up home there.

Pitt fell in love with the city after shooting Spy Game with Robert Redford there in 2000, and he is known be looking for a European base - after viewing properties in Britain a few years ago.
