Bradley Cooper is indeed a handsome devil, but sexiest man alive? Even the man himself isn't so sure about that, but People Magazine seem to think so, placing him at the top of the pile in this week's edition and making him officially their Sexiest Man Alive - he beats out the likes of country singer Tim Mcgraw, Jennifer Anniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux and Ryan Gosling to the gong.
Cooper, who made his name in American comedy 'The Hangover', was gracious in his acceptance of the award, telling the magazine "I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title], I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying." In another nice touch of modesty, the 36 year-old actor added "first thing I thought was, 'My mother is going to be so happy."
It's not been an overly busy year for Cooper, but one of the two films he has been in this year was the hugely anticipated follow up to 'The Hangover', with 'Part II' grossing an estimated $581 million worldwide, with over $250 million of that coming from the US. It's opening weekend took $177.8 million - the highest grossing opening for a comedy film ever.
