The 99 Problems hitmaker recruited a host of A-List celebrities to join him at the star-studded launch of the first ever artist-owned music streaming service in March (15).

Stars at the launch, including Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Madonna, signed joint ownership of the new service, but Flowers is adamant the whole set-up did not appeal to him.

He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I never got the phone call, which I'm glad about. I don't care about (Tidal). I saw the launch with all the celebrities there and that in itself made me not want to be a part of it. I'm glad not to be there."
