Singer Brandy, rapper Big Sean and teen star Victoria Justice have signed up to give U.S. students a daily wake-up call in a bid to keep them in school.
The stars have joined the Get Schooled Foundation's Wake Up campaign, which aims to boost graduation rates among high school kids by arranging for them to receive celebrity alarm calls in the morning.
Around 20,000 students will receive the pre-recorded daily reminder, while they can all enter a competition to win a personal call from the stars.
Singer/actress Justice says, "Success requires focus, drive and determination, whether you are striving to get ahead in academics, the music business or life itself. I am excited to partner with Get Schooled to encourage more students to wake up and get to school every day with renewed focus and motivation."
Previous participants in the scheme have included Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa and Tyra Banks.
