AC DC frontman Brian Johnson decided to turn his memoirs into a collection of short stories because he hates celebrity autobiographies.
The singer recalls his life in a series of "funny and positive" anecdotes in Rockers and Rollers: A Full-Throttle Memoir, but he made sure his book is very different to other stars' vitriol-filled offerings.
He tells Billboard, "I hate autobiographies. I think they're boring and rotten, and I'm not interested. It's usually some bitter old git doing a tell-all to get back at everybody."
Johnson is now considering writing a follow-up, but only if he can make sure it doesn't contain any negative musings.
He adds, "Man, I've got a million (more stories to tell). If I could do it (a second book) without stepping on anybody's toes, I think that would be quite fun. As long as it wasn't negative. It would have to be a positive, funny side of everything. I think that would be a great thing, and I have thought of it."
