Britney Spears will earn $310,000 for every show she performs in Las Vegas.

The 31-year-old pop star has signed a two-year deal for a concert residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in the US gambling capital.

According to TMZ, Britney's contract states she will perform 48 shows a year, earning her $310,000 each time, a total of $14,880,000.

The 'Gimme More' singer's income comes from share of ticket sales at the PH Live auditorium - which holds 4,500 people - with the projected total sales per gig being $508,514.

Britney - who has two sons, Sean Preston, seven, and Jayden James, six - was at the centre of a bidding war between several Las Vegas hotels earlier this year, with many top chains hoping to land her services for a residency before Planet Hollywood emerged as the venue for her shows.

Britney is promising her concerts will be a ''massive party'' each night and she has been busy getting into shape for them by rehearsing at a Thousand Oaks, California, dance studio.

She previously said: ''The performances won't be simple. They'll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.''

Britney will follow in the footsteps of legends such as Celine Dion, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Elton John with her Vegas residency.
