Britney Spears will launch her live music comeback two days earlier than expected with a surprise show in Las Vegas on Friday night (25Mar11).
The Toxic superstar previously announced plans to hit the stage for a free concert in San Francisco, California on Sunday (27Mar11) to promote her new album, Femme Fatale, in a taped TV gig for Tuesday's (29Mar11) episode of U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America.
But Spears will give fans in Sin City a little treat to kick off their weekend by performing a mini concert at Palms Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub. The gig will be recorded as part of an MTV special.
The singer had planned to keep news of the show quiet, but decided to take to her Twitter.com page on Friday morning after rumours began swirling online.
She wrote, "Looks like my little secret isn't a secret anymore... You're all invited. Be there or be square b**ch!"
According to People.com, Spears will delight fans twice in one night - she will perform at 8pm local time in a ticketed event, and again at midnight for another show open to the public.
The pop star has not performed live since her 2009 world tour, The Circus Starring Britney Spears.
