Brooke Mueller will be released from rehab in the next two weeks.

The 36-year-old star has been away from her two children - four-year-old twins Bob and Max, whom she has with ex-husband Charlie Sheen - while she addresses her drug and alcohol addictions at a California rehab clinic, but is said to be ready to get her life back on track and return to her Beverley Hills mansion.

A source told RadarOnline.com: ''Brooke will be released in the next two weeks. She is in a really good place right now, and is ready to resume her life with the boys.''

''When she returns home, she will have a sober living companion with her for the first month.

''She felt she needed the extra level of care as she transitioned back.''

Brooke's sons are currently being looked after by another of Charlie's ex-wives, Denise Richards - who also has daughters Sam, nine, and eight-year-old Lola with the 'Anger Management' star - and they won't immediately be returning to her care.

The insider added: ''[Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services] isn't just going to allow a judge to give the boys back to Brooke.

''She will be randomly tested before the judge in child dependency court agrees that Bob and Max should live with their mother once again. There has to be a prolonged period of time of sobriety once she leaves rehab.''
