U.S. rapper Brother Ali was arrested for trespassing during a protest in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday (21Jun12).
The musician attended an Occupy Homes MN rally where he joined a group which deployed a large balloon and banner reading "Evictions Stop Here" on the roof of a house in the city in a bid to help the occupants save their home from repossession.
Ali was arrested on charges of trespassing and refusing to depart and was taken to the Hennepin County Jail, according to Allhiphop.com.
He was later released after posting $50 (£31) bail.
