Rocker Bruce Dickinson has snubbed an offer to judge the upcoming U.K. version of The Voice, branding the show "demeaning".
Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton passed on their expert advice to wannabes on the American reality series earlier this year (11), and the talent finding programme is heading to Britain.
The Bbc has acquired rights to the series, but the Iron Maiden frontman has rejected TV bosses' pleas to sit on the judging panel.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "That show sounds so c**p and demeaning to everyone involved, I took great delight in turning the Bbc down. The X Factor is appalling enough..."
The Voice is set to launch in Britain next year (12).
