Rocker Bruce Springsteen had an intimate meeting with some of Australia's wildlife backstage at his concert in Sydney.
The Born in the U.S.A. hitmaker and The E Street Band performed at Sydney's Allphones Arena earlier this month (Feb14), and the music legend had a brush with some of the country's iconic creatures before he took to the stage.
Staff from the Featherdale Wildlife Park, located on the outskirts of Sydney, brought several animals including a wombat and a diamond python to the venue ahead of the show to meet the rock icon.
One picture published in Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper shows the music star cradling a wombat, while others show Springsteen with a snake wrapped around his neck.
A Featherdale spokeswoman revealed the animals were brought in before the concert started and were not subjected to any noise from the gig: "We bought them in backstage before the show started."
