The U.S. East Coast storms have forced Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band to rejig their end of October (12) concert in Rochester.

The concert was scheduled for Tuesday (30Oct12) but guitarist Steven Van Zandt has announced the group will now play a Halloween show on 31 October (12).

He says, "We're gonna bring our own hurricane!"

The gig is the latest victim of the former Hurricane Sandy, which lashed New York, New Jersey and North Carolina on Monday night (29Oct12). The storm was quickly downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone.

The xx, the National, Grimes, Cat Power, Ghostface Killah, Rufus Wainwright, They Might be Giants and Journey were among the acts forced to scrap or postpone shows.
