Bryan Ferry is reuniting his group Roxy Music to headline a U.K. festival, marking their first performance together in five years.
The Jealous Guy hitmakers, formed in 1971 by Ferry, will reform for the Lovebox Weekender gig in London's Victoria Park in July (10), following an invitation from DJ duo Groove Armada.
Ferry explains, "There is a song on my album that I have co-written with Groove Armada. They asked me if Roxy would like to perform at Lovebox. We, of course, thought it would be cool."
Roxy Music disbanded in 1983 but reunited in 2001 and recently announced plans for another album.
Other acts lined up for the three-day summer show, which kicks off on 16 July (10), include Grace Jones and Australian rockers Empire of the Sun.
