Rocker Bryan Adams has added a touching tribute to late Spanish guitar legend Paco De Lucia, insisting he will forever treasure the time they spent together.

The flamenco master passed away in Mexico on Wednesday (26Feb14) and a host of musicians, including former Guns N' Roses star Slash, Rage Against The MAChine guitarist Tom Morello and Queen's Brian May, honoured his memory via posts on Twitter.com.

Now Adams has opened up about the tragic loss by reminiscing about the time they recorded their 1995 hit Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?.

Adams tells Britain's BBC Radio 5, "He was very, very soulful, that kind of guitar playing; I don't know if people are still learning to play like that anymore...

"He was a sweet, sweet guy and I really enjoyed my time working with him and hanging out. Truly, I'll never forget it because aside from being a brilliant musician, he was very generous and quite fun to hang out with, he's like the party.

"As a musician, you have to always push yourself into places you haven't been in order to keep learning, so to have had the chance to work with the great Paco, I'll always remember and be very grateful."
