Cameron Diaz has laughed off rumours that she was intending to cast boyfriend Alex Rodriguez in a film.
Cameron Diaz, star of Charlie's Angels and There's Something About Mary, denied reports that she was scouting out a 'baseball movie' role for her athlete beau.
Talking to entertainment website 'Extra', Cameron laughed 'I don't know where these things come from. It's absolutely not true. I don't write! Wow, when did I become a writer?'
Diaz was talking to the website to promote her new film "Bad Teacher", in which she stars with Jason Segel and her ex Justin Timberlake.
When asked if working with an ex was awkward she responded "It was so much fun. That's the perfect example of just doing a movie to have a good time. There's no other reason to do that movie. Both Jason and Justin, who are two of the funniest guys... I felt really lucky we all got to do that together."
Cameron Diaz stars in the film as an alcoholic high school teacher who is trying to ensnare a rich husband. The film is released in cinemas on 24th June.
