Matthew McConaughey may move his family back to Texas.

The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star is from Uvalde, a city located in the Southern state, and his wife Camila Alves admits she loves Texas because it is so ''easy and relaxed'' and she and her Oscar winner husband have been considering raising their three children, Levi, five, Vida, four, and,16-month-old Livingston, near the actor's hometown of Longview, Texas.

Speaking at the Mack, Jack & McConaughey fundraiser in Austin - which is partly hosted by Matthew to raise cash for local children's charities - Camila told People.com: ''It's possible that we do that, that the kids grow up here and go to school. It's different here than in other places, and we really like it.

''It's more relaxed and easy here. It's our home and we love it. It feels so good to be back here with our good friends and family.''

Matthew frequently visits his hometown, even buying a house in Lake Austin to be closer to his mother Kay McCabe, and Camila is very grateful to the locals who let the famous family get on with their life and respect their right to privacy.

She added: ''The people really take care of us here and they treat us like regular people. The children played and played forever outside, and no one came up to us and no one asked for pictures or anything. Everyone protects us here and lets us just be us.''
