Carrie Underwood's baby is due in the spring.

The 'See You Again' singer announced last month she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together and she has now revealed when the couple will welcome their baby into the world.

Appearing on 'The View', she said: ''I'm due in the spring!''

Though the 31-year-old singer is excited about becoming a mother, she admitted she is nervous about the responsibility.

Discussing her concerns about becoming a parent, she said: ''Just being responsible for a tiny human. That's the hardest part.''

Carrie recently admitted she is finding the fact she is pregnant ''weird''.

She said: ''It's still kinda weird, to be honest.

''Sometimes I'll be with my husband, and it's like, I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life? But we're really excited.''

The country singer is already looking to her own mother for inspiration on the type of parent she wants to be.

She said: ''I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, we'll be good.''

Carrie - who married hockey player Mike, 34, in 2010 - has previously admitted she wants more than one child but not too large a family.

She has said: ''Three is fine. Four? Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!''
