Australian Actress Cate Blanchett Has Asked Her Agent To Help Her Land A Role In Hit British Drama Downton Abbey.
The Oscar winner admits she is a big fan of the show, and after appearing in new movie Cinderella with Downton castmembers Lily James and Sophie MCShera, Blanchett decided to take action in a bid to win a part.
She tells U.K. TV show Good Morning Britain, "I did have words (with Downton Abbey bosses) - I followed up with my agent. No calls have yet been received... But I'm seeing the girls (James and MCShera) again today so I'll get them to put a good word in."
