Celine Dion put her language skills to the test by singing in Mandarin during China's annual New Year's Eve variety Tv show.

The Canadian singer duetted with Chinese performer Song Zuying at the annual New Year's Eve Concert in Beijing and won rave reviews for singing classic folk song Jasmine Flower in the notoriously difficult to learn language.

She later reverted to English by singing her Titanic hit My Heart Will Go On during the show, which aired on Saturday (09Feb13).

South Korean pop star Psy was also involved in the celebrations and performed his signature Gangnam Style dance routine on a rival show.
