Kim Kardashian has got her eye on Beckingham Palace, the Hertfordshire mansion belonging to Victoria Beckham and her footballer husband David Beckham. According to The Sun today, Kim is on the lookout for a base in Europe and whichever property she sets her heart on will need to be large enough to house the whole of the Kardashian clan.
The Beckham's mansion would certainly fit the bill; the 18 million pound property covers a total of 17 acres, in Sawbridge, Hertfordshire, providing plenty of room for Kim and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe as well as her mother Kris Jenner. Fashion designer and former Spice Girl, Victoria, bought the pad, along with her husband David back in 1999, for 2.5 million pound. Since buying the property, they've had a lot of work carried out, including having a swimming pool put in, a golf course, a recording studio, stables and a helipad. The Sun suggests that Kim would also be looking to cash in and rent the property to the rich and famous when she is not using it herself.
Kim's not the only celebrity looking to haul themselves up another rung on the property ladder right now. Back in Los Angeles, Robbie Williams has been having a look around the property that was being rented by Michael Jackson when he died of a prescription drug overdose. The property, owned by Ed Hardy Ceo, Hubert Guez, is on sale for $23.9 million.
