Channing Tatum is being lined up to replace Bradley Cooper in 'The Crow' remake.

'The Hangover' star Bradley was due to play the main character in the forthcoming remake of the classic 90s supernatural action movie, but his schedule shooting new movies 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'Paradise Lose' means he has had to pull out.

Channing and Mark Wahlberg are now being considered for the new film, which will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

'The Crow', which is based on the 1989 comic book, tells the story of a rock musician who is killed trying to save his girlfriend, but is resurrected to seek revenge on those who murdered him.

The role was originally played by Brandon Lee, but he was killed during its production when he was shot with a gun containing live ammunition as opposed to duds.
