Singer/actress Charice Pempengco is set to make her stage comeback after cancelling her work commitments following the murder of her father last month (Oct11).
The Glee star pulled out of a string of concert dates and promotional appearances after her dad Ricky was fatally stabbed in her native Philippines.
Pempengco jetted home from America to spend time with her grieving relatives, but now she has confirmed plans to return to the spotlight.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Hi everybody. Thank you for all of the support and condolences. This has been a difficult time. But, my family and I are healing and I hope to see you all at my performance in San Francisco, November 19th. Again, Thank you so much and I love you all."
Angel Capili, Jr., the man suspected of killing Pempengco's father, surrendered himself to police in the Philippines earlier this month (Nov11).
