Charlie Sheen is being sued for over $1 million by a former employee.

The 'Anger Management' star is being taken to court by Keith Fitzgerald for breach of contract, failure to pay minimum wages and other grievances, for which he is seeking the huge sum in damages.

Charlie reportedly agreed in July 2013 to hire Keith for three years, paying him $300,000 per year, plus medical benefits and a 20% incentive bonus, but things went wrong after just give months.

Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com state:

''The agreement between Fitzgerald, on one hand, and Sheen and 9th Step, on the other hand, is evidenced by various emails and documents and was also entered into verbally generally.

''[But] Fitzgerald's employment relationship was prematurely terminated after approximately five months without any explanation.

''Fitzgerald received no compensation whatsoever for any of the services he performed for Charlie Sheen at any time whatsoever.''

The ex-staff member is suing for breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, promissory estoppel, quantum merit, failure to pay wages in violation of the labour code, failure to pay minimum wages in violation of the labour code, failure to pay overtime wages in violation of the labour code, and waiting time penalties, and wants a jury to decide how much he should receive in compensation.

A spokesperson for the 49-year-old actor hasn't yet commented on the allegations.
