Charlize Theron is ''suspicious'' of people who are too confident.

The Oscar-winning actress plays the role of hard-line businesswoman Meredith Vickers in new 'Alien' prequel 'Prometheus', and while she claims she has never worked with someone like her character, she does know people who are similar.

Speaking on the blue carpet at the world premiere of 'Prometheus' at the Empire cinema in London's Leicester Square, Charlize told BANG Showbiz: ''I don't know about working with people like that but I know people like that. I'm always a little suspicious when people are a little overly confident and passive aggressive and trying to control every moment in every situation.

''That tends to make me think like there's something wrong at The Core.''

Charlize stars alongside Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Idris Elba in the much anticipated Sir Ridley Scott-directed movie, and she admits they had a fun time on set together.

She added: ''It was so great! Really great. We were a great gang and we kind of became like a little family.''

Charlize was joined on the carpet by her co-stars including Michael, Noomi, Logan Marshall-Green and Guy Pearce.
