Charlize Theron has revealed that she tore a stomach muscle while shooting new movie 'Snow White and the Huntsman' - because of the amount of screaming she did. The Oscar-winning actress plays the Evil Queen in the adventure movie, and told MTV News that her villainous ways left her writhing in agony.
Theron explained, "I did enjoy just screaming at people.I screamed so much at people, I tore a stomach muscle, which I had never heard of before". The South-African born actress has rarely played a villain role on-screen, and discussing the challenges said, "That's the tricky thing of the movie: Finding that line that you can walk where you're not going into camp-ville and you're also not going into 'please take me serious Marlon Brando acting-ville". The movie is likely to be one of the biggest of the year, and features Twilight star Kristen Stewart in the lead role. Though the rival Snow White flick 'Mirror, Mirror', performed reasonably well at the box-office, 'The Huntsman' is likely to move up to another level, and Theron explained "This film is epic and big and the characters, what we tried to do was ground it and give it weight and reality, but there is a small part of this film that has to celebrate the fantastical of it".
Snow White and the Huntsman - also starring Chris Hemsworth, Ian McShane and Ray Winstone - hits cinemas in the U.S. on June 1, 2012.
