Cheryl Cole has announced her first ever solo arena tour.

The 28-year-old singer is due to play nine dates in the UK for her 'A Million Lights' tour, which will begin at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on October 3 and finish in the Metro Radio Arena in her hometown of Newcastle on October 17.

A post on the Girls Aloud star's official website read: ''The news you've all been waiting to hear! Cheryl has just announced her first solo nationwide arena tour, with dates up and down the UK and Ireland this October! Tickets will be on special pre-sale to you from tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9am on CherylCole.com.''

The brunette beauty will perform hits from her three solo albums '3 Words', 'Messy Little Raindrops' and her latest record 'A Million Lights'.

Official Cheryl fans will be able to snap up tickets to see her perform from tomorrow (13.06.12), with the remaining tickets available from 9am on Friday (15.06.12) from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
