Cheryl Cole's husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has accused record label bosses of failing to promote the British pop star's music.

The French restaurateur took to Instagram.com to lash out at Cole's managers and marketing team, blaming them for the low-charting sales figures for her 2014 solo album Only Human.

Fernandez-Versini writes, "I would like an answer on how come people don't push people that deserve it. How come somebody as exceptional as my wife has to fight for being the best and even her own management, label and people that decide who goes on radio don't move their a**es. And being less lazy to promote such an amazing singer, person and creative inspirational human being! Question of the day!"

Only Human debuted at number seven in the U.K. charts, making it Cole's least successful album.
