Cheryl Cole has slammed X Factor judge Louis Walsh for his management of her girl-group Girls Aloud. Cole, 28, told Marie Claire magazine she had been naive after the group won Itv1 show Pop Stars and chose to ignore some of Walsh's questionable behaviour.
The singer, who now has a successful solo career, explained, "Louis Walsh had come out publicly and said, 'They're all fat. They all need to lose weight'. And the record label sent us all to have training... but we were just thinking they were doing us a favour at the time. We were so deluded". Though Louis Walsh was regarded as the group's manager, Cheryl claims he had "zero involvement", saying, "We worked like crazy in those days. We didn't stop for breath...We never had management. Louis claimed to be our manager but he never did it.We didn't talk to him or anything like that. He just took a cheque.Oh yeah, he took the cheques". Walsh stopped managing the group after around a year, but has since worked with the likes of G4, Wonderland and Eton Road - he is the current manager of boy-band JLS.
In the same interview, Cole also confessed she had dreamt about marrying Prince Harry, saying, "I love Prince Harry. Actually, I had a dream last night I married Prince Harry and was a real-life princess. It's true".
