'If I Stay' actress Chloe Grace Moretz's mother has stopped her daughter from buying designer clothes.
Chloe Grace Moretz isn't allowed to spend her money on designer clothing.
At 17 years old, the 'If I Stay' actress has yet to take full control of her budget, after she's revealed her mother Teri has stopped her from blowing her money on couture.
Talking to Company magazine, the starlet explained: ''My mom doesn't let me shop in expensive places just yet. Things I do have were gifts - people have been really sweet giving me stuff. When I lived in London, I used to go to TK Maxx on Kensington High Street and buy the four-seasons late brand stuff in the Gold Label section.
''I went to Urban Outfitters the other day and I bought a couple of white T-shirts. I sometimes shop in the men's section and buy extra small because I like their stuff better sometimes.''
Despite her mother's ban on designer goods, Chloe is still style savvy.
She said: ''I love Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders. My style is British, Nelma Kalonjo - she works for AnOther Magazine. Rihanna is amazing! She's definitely a risk-taker. Especially after the CFDA Awards! I loved it. She had a sparkly do-rag on, it was sick.''
Chloe isn't a fan of attending fashion shows though. After being spotted on the front row of SHOW and Show, she confessed to finding them too ''crazy'' and shared her preference for the red carpet.
She said: ''Fashion shows are interesting, but they're not my favourite because everyone's crazy! I love the red carpet because it's about celebrating my projects, but, with fashion shows, I'm just there - I don't deserve it.''
Having moved to the UK whilst filming 'Hugo' and 'Kick-Ass', Chloe - who is dating David and Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham - admitted that she has a soft spot for British pop star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
She joked: ''When I lived in London, I was obsessed with her. She's like a goddess. I've never met her, but she's, like, Britain's nicest person.''
