Chris Brown has offered to pay for his former lover to move to Los Angeles.

The 'Yeah 3x' hitmaker wants to be a good father to his nine-month-old daughter Royalty but the little girl lives in Houston, Texas, with her mother Nia Guzman, so he has asked the 31 year old to consider relocating.

Sources told TMZ that if Nia agrees, he will cover the costs of a property close to his home in the Hollywood Hills for her and their daughter, who he is keen to see every day.

Chris is currently negotiating over child support and is currently paying more than he is legally required.

However, the 25-year-old singer - who split from girlfriend Karrueche Tran after it emerged he had fathered Royalty - was said to have been angered when his former lover began talking about their relationship and vowed to go to court, where the judge would likely reduce the informal payments.

According to the source, Chris told Nia that he will scrap any legal case if she agrees to the Los Angeles move and will continue the premium payments, as well as her housing costs.

It was recently claimed the 'Loyal' hitmaker wants to swap his bachelor pad for a baby-proof house, which will be more ''conducive'' for raising his daughter.

A source said: ''[This] house isn't set up for a baby. There's marble everywhere, sharp corners and edges. It's not conducive for raising a baby.

''He wants to get out of the Valley now and move to a new house in the city where he's centrally located, with everything he and the baby would need at their fingertips.''
