Beyonce would like the ability to be invisible.

The world-famous 'Grown Woman' singer has revealed she would covet invisibility over any other superpower so she can spy on other people without being recognised.

She said: ''I would like to be able to disappear so that I can watch people without being seen.''

The 32-year-old beauty isn't the only A-list star who'd love to drift into the background for a day, as 'Thor: The Dark World' actress Natalie Portman, 32, shares her sentiments.

Quizzed what superpower she would like to possess - to celebrate the DVD release of new Superman movie 'Man of Steel' - the Oscar winner said: ''Probably invisibility. I don't know why but I guess we get used to being looked at a lot so it would be nice to escape that once in a while.''

Meanwhile, Natalie's 'Thor' co-star Chris Hemsworth, 30, may play a superhero on the big screen, but he admits he is envious of TV Time Lord, Doctor Who, because he'd love to travel back in time.

He explained: ''That's an easy one - time travel. Why not? I'd go back a hundred years and check things out, or two hundred, or more. Why not? What an expedition!''

Fellow big screen hunk Brad Pitt, however, insists he doesn't need any superpowers and feels dealing with his six children - Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Shiloh, seven, Zahara, eight, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - with fiancée Angelina Jolie is all the responsibility he needs.

He said: ''Superpowers? Oh no, I don't need any, thank you. I'm a father-of-six ... a dad. Believe me, when you are a dad, that comes with superpowers.''

'Man of Steel' is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download.
