Chris Isaak is facing legal action from his former lighting director over allegations of discrimination and unfair dismissal.

In court documents filed at San Francisco Superior Court in California, Lane Hirsch claims he was fired after repeatedly complaining to Isaak and others that two female roadies were treated badly. He also alleges he was on the receiving end of crude homophobic jibes.

Hirsch claims tour manager Tim Lamb verbally and physically abused him and that he informed Isaak about his treatment but was not taken seriously.

He alleges he was fired without notice and is suing for wrongful termination, defamation and discrimination.

Hirsch, who worked on Isaak's tours for 17 years, has filed the lawsuit against the Wicked Game hitmaker, Lamb, Isaak's company H. Powell Inc., and his management H.K. Management.
